Court gives man gun licence despite threats to kids

A Zurich court has given the go ahead to a 46 year old man to buy more hand guns and rifles despite threatening a group of school students with shooting or burning down their house. public domain pictures The verbal assault was back in September 2016 and the threats were overheard by a teacher and the head teacher. The man admits to making the threats. He says he was angry that his daughter had been bullied at school and says he confronted the children responsible. The students complained to the police who kept a record. When the man wanted to buy more guns, he was denied the permit. The court ruled the argument with the children does not harm his reputation in a serious manner and he should be issued a new weapons licence.
