Democratic candidates stick with “common-sense” gun rights

CHEYENNE (WNE) – Democrats announced for statewide office say they are sticking to their support for common-sense gun rights. After mass shootings s in Parkland, Florida, and Las Vegas, some Democrats candidates elsewhere in the nation have responded to calls to align with policies to expand gun control, for example Minnesota gubernatorial candidate Tim Walz and Nebraska congressional hopeful Brad Ashford. Democrat Mary Throne of Cheyenne has declared her run for governor, and Democrat Gary Trauner of Wilson has announced his candidacy for the seat held by U.S. Sen.
