I have had it with the downright lies told by our new presidential administration and the parroting of false narratives by our liberal press about the need for more restrictive gun control legislation, by either an unlikely Congressional bill or another executive order added to the first 69 signed since taking office. President Biden questioned why anyone would “need” a military-style rifle or 100 rounds of ammunition? Well, why does anyone “need” a bass boat, a swimming pool or bottled water while voting? Simple answer: You don’t need most things in life. But it’s the cool part of living in the freest country on planet earth. The effort to restrict or ban firearms to address the massive assault potential could be argued in many ways. Did you know there were 446 mass shooting deaths in 2020 while during the same year 2,616 people were killed, not by great white sharks, but by drowning in their own swimming pools? So where is the gallant effort to outlaw those backyard killing devices? There was a report years ago where a Glock handgun was stolen from a legal gun owner’s house and used in a murder in Miami.
