Federal Gun Control Battle Starting To Heat Up

iStock/Thinkstock The battle over new federal gun control measures is heating up, with local Second Amendment advocates warning of incoming bans on semi-automatic firearms and ammunition magazines from the Biden administration. Adam Kraut with the Sacramento-based Firearm Policy Council says nearly 5-dozen firearm-related bills have already been introduced in the U.S. Congress. Meantime, Giffords Director of Federal Affairs Adzi Vokhiwa says enacting universal background checks will close a glaring loophole in federal law.
