Gun Rights Advocates Brandish Rifles And Rods In Opposition To Gun Control Measures

Cop cars formed a line up East Fort King Street and tents dotted Ocala Citizens’ circle in front of city hall. The tents represented seemingly every school in Marion County — there was West Port High, North Marion Middle. Marion Technical College even offered kids CPR lessons with a playlist featuring the Bee Gees classic “Stayin’ Alive.” All of it seemed odd given that about half an hour later, an open carry march was scheduled to begin at the same spot. One teacher from North Marion Middle said she had no idea the march was happening.
