DES MOINES, Iowa (KWWL)- With less than three weeks until election day, President Trump is campaigning hard for re-election. On Wednesday, he took his message to the Hawkeye state, holding a "Make America Great Again” rally at the Des Moines International Airport. Thousands of people were packed shoulder to shoulder onto the airport tarmac for the rally. President Trump immediately launched into attacks on his political opponents and the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in Democrat-led states. In the nearly hour and a half the President was on stage, he spent much of his time going after the previous administration. "The previous administration did a poor job," he said. "So poor, in fact, that I said I’m going to run for President." The President spent a good deal of time attacking his Democratic opponent Joe Biden. Citing a New York Post report about the Former Vice President’s son Hunter, President Trump said Biden is a "corrupt politician." The report details Hunter’s alleged business dealings in Ukraine and ties Joe Biden to a meeting with an advisor to the board of Burisma, the company where Hunter worked. That advisor also allegedly asked about Hunter possibly using his influence on the company’s behalf. The President called on Biden to release his emails and dealings with his son Hunter.
