"We’re standing here for our right to bear arms that is part of the Second Amendment. This is not something that should ever be changed," said 25-year-old David Johnson of Cottonwood, one of the organizers of the Redding march. The group of about 50 people carried signs and waved both American and yellow Don’t Tread on Me flags as they walked from a lawn outside Redding City Hall to the sidewalk along Cypress Avenue toward its intersection with Hilltop Drive.
