However, the lobbying group’s deputy chapter leader Kendra Staub wanted to make one thing clear during her recent talk in Anderson County. However, the lobbying group’s deputy chapter leader Kendra Staub wanted to make one thing clear during her recent talk in Anderson County. “We completely support the Second Amendment,” she said. She likened it to the fact that even though she had not personally shot venison, she had enjoyed the taste. Those comments came when she was addressing 18 people at a recent Anderson County Democrats meeting at the Claxton Community Center. “Probably every one of us in the room can say that we maybe know someone and are very close to someone who’s an NRA (National Rifle Association) member, right? We are not against the NRA membership at all. Much of the NRA membership agrees with us and agrees with some of the things we’re going to talk about,” she said. “It’s really about the gun lobby.
