NRA-PVF Endorses Gov. Ivey for Reelection in Alabama

Fairfax, Va. – The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is proud to announce its endorsement for the reelection of Kay Ivey as governor of Alabama. “Kay Ivey has long demonstrated an unwavering support for our Second Amendment freedoms,” said Jason Ouimet, chairman, NRA-PVF. “She is the strongest candidate in this race and has a proven record of defending our constitutional right to self-defense.” As governor, and previously as lieutenant governor, Ivey has generated an unvarnished pro-Second Amendment record. No where was her support more evident than her recent signing of Alabama’s constitutional carry law earlier this spring. With her signature, every law-abiding Alabamian who can legally possess a firearm now has the right to carry that firearm for self-defense without a permit from the state. “Today, in states across the country, the right to keep and bear arms is under attack. Blue state liberals, the mainstream media and Hollywood would love nothing more than to see an America without guns. Well, if they got their way, that country wouldn’t be ‘America’ at all,” Gov.
