OPINION: Speaking of the 2nd Ammendment

Claire Walker of Jasper is a Political Science major at the University of Texas at Dallas. My name is Claire Walker. I am a Political Science major at the University of Texas at Dallas. I have had special experience training at the Mercury One Leadership Program, led by historians Tim Barton, David Barton, and Glenn Beck. I currently work for Turning Point USA as campus coordinator of my university and worked on a congressional campaign in the 2020 elections. The more experience I get, the more I realize that most people do not understand the original meaning and intent behind essential laws that established our nation. It establishes American Freedoms that citizens of other countries wish for. Although the First Amendment is important, the Second Amendment is essential for Americans to keep the freedoms given to them. The Second Amendment was created for three reasons: 1.
