A rally in support of freedom drew about 100 people from around Northern Colorado to the south side of Lake Loveland on Saturday. Organizers timed the rally for the weekend before the Fourth of July. ( Pamela Johnson / Loveland Reporter-Herald ) About 100 people lined Eisenhower Boulevard near the south shore of Lake Loveland to rally in support of constitutional rights, earning many honks and waves, Saturday afternoon. "The title of the event is Rally for our Freedom," said David Huntwork of Windsor, one of the organizers of the Rally for our Rights group that sponsored the demonstration. "We’re expanding the theme for today. Normally we’re Second Amendment-oriented. Today we are Bill of Rights-oriented." The group, which drew supporters from around Northern Colorado, gathered on the weekend before the Fourth of July, many with handguns strapped to their sides and a few with AR-15 rifles draped across their torsos.
